Who can book through Room for Rent?
Anyone aged 18 or over who needs a room in a host's home: students, interns, working professionals and people relocating to Ireland.
Where are your hosts?
Most of our hosts are in Dublin, where we have a large network across the city and county, the majority within a one-hour commute of the city centre. We also have hosts in Galway, Cork and many other parts of Ireland, so tell us where you need to be.
Why can't I browse rooms myself?
Because we match you personally. Instead of showing a list that may already be out of date, we check which verified hosts are available for your dates and offer you the ones that suit your needs.
What if I don't like the hosts you offer?
You're not obliged to accept. If you decide not to choose any of the hosts we offer, the €50 confirmation fee is non-refundable, but nothing further is charged.
How do I pay rent for a longer stay?
For stays of one month or more, you can pay rent monthly, on the 1st of each month for the month ahead. We pay your host directly.
